The Arts
The Arts is a combination of what used to be our Music & Arts Department and Literature & Drama Department. The group is in the process of reforming their purpose along with the activities and events that they will be promoting.The first development of this new department is a Book Club. This club will start in October of 2011 and will meet on a monthly basis to discuss different books. A schedule of books will be posted here when it is available.
Other parts of the arts that we hope to incorporating into this department is music performances - including classic and contemporary vocal and instrumental music, theatric productions - including performances from local actors and club members, guest speakers from our artistic community, and the display of artwork produced by local artists in the club - to be switched out monthly.
The Fall Card Party is always hosted by The Arts Department to raise funds for the five study grants awarded annually to students of arts and music.
